Coastal Halloween Decor is sometimes a challenge. The staple Halloween color is orange which really doesn’t mesh well with that beachy style. I’ve come up with several ways to use a more neutral color pallet while still keeping the coastal vibes for your Halloween decorating.
Scroll through these beachy Halloween decorating ideas for inspiration – Enjoy!
1. A Neutral Colored Halloween Wreath
Adding a wreath on the outside of your front door is a great way to decorate for any holiday. Halloween wreath options that are already made will probably have that bright orange color that us beachy people despise! (at least I normally do). I’d much rather have a neutral options with a hint of orange and black.
I found this Magical Moon Wreath project and it looks so easy and perfect for a coastal Halloween wreath option. I can’t wait to try something like this for Halloween.

2. Coastal Halloween Prints
Printable art is of my favorite ways to change your decor for each holiday. You can use the same frames all year round and replace just the print inside.
There are not a lot of options in the store for a beachy look on Halloween. Etsy is a great online shop to find customizable prints! I created my own Blue Halloween Pumpkins print and decided to share it on Etsy too! It’s an instant download so if you waited until the last minute to decorate for Halloween, you can print these at home or at your local printer (CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, etc!).

3. Use Decorative Bats
Bats?! Yes, Bats! They definitely represent a little spooky-ness and can be cute as a decoration for Halloween.
And they’re a neutral color! I love this idea of scattering bats around an already existing entryway table with the round mirror above it. By adding the bats, a cute neutral hocus pocus sign, and some white/cream pumpkins, it really screams Halloween.

4. Neutral Pumpkins
In her fall house tour, House Full Of Summer displays some white pumpkins on her breakfast nook table. These are great for fall decor, Thanksgiving decor, and Halloween time!
5. Halloween Pillow Covers
I am always changing up my pillow covers depending on the time of the year. It’s cheap, easy, and easy to store once you’re done with them.
Amazon always has something for every season or holiday. These Halloween pillow covers are burlap with black text so they will go along with your beach house perfectly.

6. Coastal Blue Pumpkins
I just love this mantle by Making Home Base – with or without the blue pumpkins! Her post linked below this photo is all about how to decorate seasonally without changing your color pallet. This is perfect to incorporate pumpkin decor for the Halloween holiday.
It’s a great idea for some easy fall decor too.

7. A Coastal Halloween Table Setting
The dining room table is another area of your home that is easy to decorate for any time of year or holiday. Halloween is no expectation. With a few coastal Halloween decor purchases, you will be well on your way to a beautiful tablescape.
You may already have your table set up for fall… if not, here are some more coastal fall table setting ideas. Any of these ideas will be a great base for the entire fall season. Carry these over into Halloween and Thanksgiving very easily!
Last year I created a neutral Thanksgiving centerpiece that I left out almost all season. Add a few white skeletons or black crows to this and you’ll have a Halloween centered look.
